In anticipation of the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) set to take place in Kenya, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) appears to lean towards a tripartite approach, as indicated by a press release from the Uganda Football Federation.
According to FUFA, a CAF inspection commission is scheduled to assess potential venues in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania in preparation for CHAN 2024.
The statement outlines the inspection team’s itinerary, commencing Uganda on March 6 and 7, 2024, followed by visits to Kenya, Zanzibar, and Tanzania.
This comprehensive evaluation underscores the collaborative efforts of multiple nations in hosting the prestigious tournament.
CAF’s inclination towards a tripartite organization suggests a shared responsibility and regional involvement in ensuring the success of CHAN 2024.
The coordinated inspection process across these East African nations signifies a commitment to thorough planning and execution, aiming to deliver a memorable championship experience.
