In the CAF Confederation Cup, Liga Muçulmana turned the tide in the round of 16 second leg against Lobi Stars, winning 7-1 after losing 3-1 in the first leg. Sonito was the star of the match with a quadruplet, and other goals were scored by Josimar and Helder Pelembe. Chimaobi Nwaogu scored the only goal for Lobi Stars. Liga Muçulmana qualifies for the next round with an aggregate score of 8-4. In other matches, Eleven Creators from Mali faced Etoile du Sahel, and Al Nasr of Libya played against FAR Rabat of Morocco.
