The return matches of the CAF Confederation Cup group play-offs took place on Sunday, showcasing some thrilling encounters as teams battled for qualification. Al Ahly and Séwé Sport secured their spots, while other favorites also demonstrated their strength.
ASEC confirmed their first-leg victory over Kaizer Chiefs with a 1-0 win in Abidjan, courtesy of Foba Koffi’s goal. Etoile du Sahel also clinched a 1-0 victory over Horoya, securing their place in the next round.
Despite a 2-2 draw against Petro Luanda, Coton Sport advanced thanks to their first-leg victory. AS Real Bamako emerged victorious in the Malian derby, winning 2-1 in the first leg and holding Djoliba to a goalless draw in the return fixture.
