The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the officiating team for the decisive second-leg clash between Wydad Athletic Club and Olympique Safi in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Mauritian referee Ahmad Imtiaz Hiralal has been appointed to take charge of the encounter, alongside assistants Ram Babajee and Sailesh Maithon Gopin, with Patrice Milazar serving as the fourth official.

Hiralal, who also works as a police officer in his home country, is a FIFA-accredited referee with experience across multiple competitions. He has officiated 47 official matches, issuing a total of 131 yellow cards and three red cards, averaging nearly three cautions per game, a statistic that highlights his firm approach to discipline on the pitch.

The tie remains finely balanced after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw at Al Massira Stadium in Safi. Despite home advantage, Olympique Safi were unable to secure a winning edge, leaving the contest wide open heading into the return leg.

With qualification for the semi-finals at stake, both sides will look to seize control when they meet again at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca next Sunday, in what promises to be a tightly contested encounter.
