Zamalek defender Mahmoud Bentayk is on the verge of returning to action for the club’s CAF Confederation Cup clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Moroccan defender has completed an intensive rehabilitation program under the guidance of the club’s medical team and has now resumed full training, edging closer to inclusion in the matchday squad.
Ahead of the game, a technical meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow at a hotel in Ismailia. The session will finalise team kits, confirm match logistics, including stadium arrival times, and cover other technical arrangements.
Zamalek will be represented by administrative director Mohamed Hassan “Tito” and public relations officer Bassem Ziada.
The Egyptian side will face Kaizer Chiefs next Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in the sixth round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
