Mamelodi Sundowns legend Kennedy Mweene has cautioned the club to be wary heading into the finals of the CAF Champions League against Pyramids FC.
He believes the Egyptian club is a dangerous side and will give the South Africans a challenging contest.
“The last time we played them in 2023, they were a different team than this season because of the players. [However], they haven’t changed a lot of players, and that is why you can see there is progression in terms of how they play.
“They [Pyramids FC] have played together for a long time. It is a very dangerous team; anything from North Africa, you must know how to play them. They are dangerous,” Kennedy Mweene said.
The first leg of the CAF Champions League final between Mamelodi Sundowns and FC Pyramids will be played on Saturday, May 24.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 pm.
Both teams will be eager to bag all three points to take an advantage into the reverse fixture.
