CAF Champions League: Tickets sold out for high-stake Esperance-Al Ahly clash

The match tickets for the upcoming CAF Champions League quarterfinals between Esperance de Tunis and Al Ahly have been sold out, highlighting the enormous excitement surrounding the tie.

The first leg will take place on Sunday, March 15 at Rades Stadium before the reverse fixture in Cairo, Egypt. As per reports, tickets sales saw massive demand within hours of their release.

In a bid to engage fans ahead of the showdown, Esperance announced that two training sessions, scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at 10 pm, will be open to the public.

The rest of the week’s sessions will remain closed to ensure optimal preparation and focus for the encounter against the Egyptian giants.

Esperance emphasized that fans attending the match must present their national identity card alongside the printed electronic ticket.

“Electronic tickets are personal and authorize entry for only one person. They bear the name of their owner and their identification card number, and any attempt at forgery that is discovered will subject its owner to legal proceedings,” the statement read.

The eagerly awaited return leg is scheduled for March 21 at Cairo Stadium, where Al Ahly will host Esperance as both sides look to secure a place in the semi-finals.

With stadiums sold out and fan enthusiasm at an all-time high, the quarter-final promises a thrilling two-legged battle between two of Africa’s most decorated clubs.
