Mohamed Hany Of Al Ahly Celebrates Goal

The semi-final line-up for the 2023/24 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League has been decided, with two Egyptian and two South African sides advancing from the quarter-finals to set up a thrilling conclusion to this season’s competition.

Pirates hold firm to down MC Alger

Orlando Pirates delivered a disciplined performance to hold MC Alger to a goalless draw in Soweto, securing their progress thanks to a 1-0 win in the first leg. It marks another big step forward for the Buccaneers as they aim for their second Champions League crown.

Historic moment for Pyramids

Elsewhere, Pyramids FC survived a scare in Morocco, where they lost 2-0 to the Royal Army but still went through 4-3 on aggregate. Their commanding first-leg triumph in Cairo laid the foundation for their maiden semi-final appearance in the elite African competition.
