The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released a report highlighting the top 5 young players worthy of attention in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals, set to kick off in Ivory Coast next Saturday.
The list, published on the official website of the Confederation of African Football, includes the Moroccan international Amine Richardson Junior (21 years old), who will embark on his first official competition with the “Atlas Lions” through the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
According to the same report, Richardson has delivered an exceptional performance in the current season with his club Reims, stating: “The impact of the giant, standing at 1.95 meters, at his club Reims is measured by his impressive statistics, scoring 3 goals in 14 matches.
This has earned him a spot in the final list of Moroccan coach Walid Regragui in preparation for the continental football spectacle.”
Here are the five young names recommended by CAF to be watched closely in the Africa Cup of Nations:
1. Ernest Nwama (Ghana – 20 years old)
