The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), in partnership with broadcast giant beIN SPORTS, is set to hold the quarter-final draws for the 2024/25 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The event will take place at beIN SPORTS’ state-of-the-art studios in Doha, Qatar.
The ceremony will determine the road to the finals for the remaining eight teams in each of CAF’s prestigious interclub competitions.
The draw for the CAF Confederation Cup will commence at 14:00 GMT, followed by the CAF Champions League draw at 15:00 GMT.
Fans can watch the proceedings live on beIN SPORTS NEWS free-to-air in Arabic, beIN SPORTS ENGLISH, and CAF TV on YouTube.
In addition to beIN SPORTS, several CAF broadcast partners, including SuperSport, Canal+, Azam Media, and SABC, will air the event.
Free-to-air broadcasters such as Morocco’s SNRT, Egypt’s OnSport, and Algeria’s EPTV will also provide coverage.
The event will be hosted by prominent beIN SPORTS presenter Mohammed Saadoun Al-Kuwari, who will be joined by former Zambia international and CAF tournament winner Rainford Kalaba and Algerian football legend Rabah Madjer.
Representatives from the Qatar Football Association, including Referees Committee Chairman Hani Ballan, will also be in attendance.
The draws will also reveal potential semi-final matchups. The first legs of the Champions League quarter-finals are scheduled for April 1 and 8, 2025, while the Confederation Cup games will take place on April 2 and 9, 2025.
Reigning CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly SC and CAF Confederation Cup titleholders Zamalek SC lead the list of the 16 participating teams, which include clubs from Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Algeria, and beyond.
