Burkina Faso defender Edmond Tapsoba has been linked with a possible move to the English Premier League in the summer transfer window.
According to sources, the Bayer Leverkusen defender is a transfer target of three English Premier League clubs.
The clubs include Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
In 2023, Tottenham Hotspur attempted to sign Edmond Tapsoba but failed. The club is now back to try again and could make a formal approach in the summer transfer window.
Tapsoba, 25, is currently a key man for Bayer Leverkusen and has been a regular in the 2024/25 football season.
He has made as many as 23 appearances in the German Bundesliga season. Unfortunately, for Bayer Leverkusen, the versatile player could leave in the summer window, same as top defenders Jonathan Tah and Piero Hincapie.
Leverkusen will reportedly demand a fee around €40 million before sanctioning the transfer of the Burkinabe at the end of the season.
