Burkina Faso international Edmond Tapsoba is expected to be fully fit on Tuesday when his Bayer Leverkusen side takes on Bayern Munich in the Uefa Champions League.
The versatile defender started from the bench in the first leg of the Round 16 tie last weekend.
In that game played at Allianz Arena, Bayer Leverkusen lost 3-0 to the opponent.
Ahead of the reverse fixture against Bayern Munich at home, Tapsoba picked up an injury during his team’s encounter against Werder Bremen over the weekend.
However, reports gathered today indicates that the Burkinabe should be fully fit by Tuesday to be able to start the crucial Champions League match.
While injured Granit Xhaka is also expected to be fit for the game, star player Florian Wirtz’s chances of playing are very slim
Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso must plan accordingly to parade a team that will fight to turn around the results from the first leg.
Tapsoba, 26, will be a key player for the team on the matchday.
