Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has revealed that England forward of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Saka has fully recovered from his injury.
The talented winger has been out of action since December when he underwent hamstring surgery.
Initially, it was projected that Bukayo Saka would return to full training by the end of February and be available for selection in March. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Mikel Arteta noted that Bukayo Saka is ready to, adding that the talented winger can even start against Fulham in the English Premier League clash on Tuesday, April 1.
“Bukayo Saka is good to go! He can already start vs Fulham, yeah… we will see that tomorrow.
“All of the careful things he’s already done. It’s about putting him on the grass in the right moment. He’s pushing. He really wants it,” Mikel Arteta said.
Saka’s return from injury is a major boost for Arsenal, especially ahead of the club’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid.
The forward will be crucial for the Gunners if the team can beat Los Blancos throughout the two legs.
