Brentford manager Thomas Frank has lavished praise on Bryan Mbeumo following the Cameroonian forward’s standout display in their English Premier League clash against Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
Despite Brentford’s 3-1 loss to the Gunners, Mbeumo delivered a noteworthy performance, scoring his side’s only goal of the match.
In a post-match interview, Frank expressed his satisfaction with the attacker’s efforts.
“Bryan Mbeumo was really good, and I was really pleased with that,” the Brentford boss remarked.
Mbeumo, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Arsenal this season, continues to be a pivotal figure for Brentford. Addressing speculation about the player’s future, Frank remained confident about retaining his services.
“For me, it shouldn’t be a problem to keep him,” he said.
The 24-year-old’s current contract with Brentford runs until June 2026, giving the club a strong position as they fend off interest from potential suitors.
With performances like the one against Arsenal, Mbeumo remains a key asset for Brentford as they navigate the remainder of the season.
