Bryan Mbeumo says Man United recharging in Ireland
Bryan Mbeumo says Manchester United are making the most of their training camp in the Republic of Ireland as they gear up for their Premier League return against Leeds United at Old Trafford on Monday, 13 April.
For the forward, the trip is about sharpening both body and mind after a stop-start spell in the schedule.
“I think, for a football player, you want to play games every single time and every single week,” Mbeumo admitted, acknowledging that the recent break has disrupted their flow.
“Now is a little rest, I would say, for us but it’s always hard to find the rhythm. I think that is why we are here as well, to get ready for the next game and just be as strong as possible.”
With United still chasing a top-four finish, Mbeumo underlined how important the run‑in feels inside the camp. “Obviously, it’s clear for everyone and, with the position we are now in, obviously we want to finish as strongly as possible and reach the top positions in the table, hopefully playing in the Champions League,” he added, setting out the group’s target for the final weeks.
