Bryan Mbeumo praises Michael Carrick’s impact at Man United

Bryan Mbeumo has hailed the influence of interim boss Michael Carrick at Manchester United, stressing that the squad are focused on learning from him rather than worrying about who will be in charge next season.

The forward says working under the former United midfielder has already been a hugely positive experience for the dressing room.

“We’ve got good experience with Carrick. It’s not for us as a players to decide who will be in charge next season but we’re going to try to take as much as we can from him,” Mbeumo explained, making it clear the squad’s job is to perform on the pitch.

“He knows the DNA of the club, he knows how to talk to us as well and I think it’s been easier because he knew the ‘house’ so it has been great to work under him,” he added.

For Mbeumo and his teammates, Carrick’s understanding of United’s culture and his calm communication have made the transition smoother as they push for a strong finish to the season.
