Brighton & Hove Albion have made it clear that Simon Adingra is not available for transfer, despite reported interest from European clubs, including Olympique de Marseille and RB Leipzig.
With the winter transfer window set to close on Wednesday, speculation had been growing around the Ivorian winger’s future.
However, Brighton remain firm in their stance, unwilling to part with the player as they look to finish the season strongly.
According to British media reports, Marseille submitted a £20 million bid for Adingra, but the offer was swiftly rejected by the Premier League side.
While the 22-year-old’s form has dipped in recent weeks, Brighton continue to see him as a key part of their plans for the remainder of the campaign.
Despite interest from other clubs, Adingra is expected to stay at the Amex Stadium, with Brighton showing no intention of negotiating a transfer before the deadline.
