Brighton’s football chief, David Weir, has officially announced the completion of a significant deal, confirming the acquisition of Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman. The talented player will make the transition from FC Nordsjælland to Brighton at the conclusion of the ongoing season, having committed to a contract that extends until 2029.

In his statement, Weir expressed the club’s anticipation of collaborating with Osman, acknowledging the young winger as an exhilarating talent.

However, he emphasized the importance of allowing Osman to concentrate entirely on his current commitments with Nordsjælland, where he is enjoying a commendable season.

“We look forward to working with Ibrahim. He is a young and exciting talent, but right now it is important that we give him space to focus fully on Nordsjælland, where he is having a good season,” stated Weir.

The football chief emphasized a patient and considerate approach, indicating that once the current season concludes, and Osman has had the opportunity for a well-deserved summer break, Brighton will seamlessly integrate him into their environment.

This transitional period aims to provide Osman with the necessary time and support to acclimate to his new surroundings in England.

The acquisition of Ibrahim Osman stands as a testament to Brighton’s commitment to nurturing promising talents, and the extended contract until 2029 underlines the club’s belief in the winger’s potential contributions to the team.

As the football world awaits Osman’s arrival at Brighton, expectations are high for the young Ghanaian to make a meaningful impact in the seasons to come.
