Brighton eye Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara in potential Premier League move
Brighton are considering a move for Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara, who currently plays for Monaco in Ligue 1.
Camara, a 22-year-old central midfielder, has seen his reputation rise sharply in France, with his market value climbing to 40m after his first seasons in Monacos squad.
The right-footed midfielder joined Monaco from Metz in July 2024, continuing a rapid ascent that began with FC Metz B and then Metzs first team following his arrival in France in 2023.
Standing at 1.74m, Camara has developed as a central presence in midfield, having previously come through the Senegalese system with Casa Sports and Generation Foot before making the move to Europe.
The interest from Brighton would represent Camaras first potential move to the Premier League, adding another step to a career that has already taken him from domestic football in Senegal to Ligue 1.
No agreement is in place between Monaco and Brighton, and the situation currently remains at the rumour stage.
