Bright Gyamfi joins ACR Messina: Ghanaian defender signs until 2026
ACR Messina has bolstered its defense with the signing of Ghanaian full-back Bright Gyamfi on a contract running through June 2026.
The talented defender makes the move from Serie B side Cosenza to join the Biancoscudati. Known for his versatility and athleticism, Gyamfi brings a wealth of experience from stints at Inter’s youth academy, Reggiana, Benevento, and Potenza.
Established in 1900, ACR Messina boasts a rich football history, including stints in Serie A during the mid-2000s. The club plays its home games at the iconic Stadio San Filippo-Franco Scoglio, a 38,000-capacity arena nestled on the picturesque Sicilian coastline. Gyamfi will now call this storied ground home as he prepares for his debut in tomorrow’s match against Casertana.
Meanwhile, Gyamfi’s arrival may prompt squad adjustments, with Lia reportedly nearing a move to Cerignola and Salvo attracting interest from Picerno.
ACR Messina fans will hope their new recruit adds depth and dynamism to the defense as the team aims for a strong showing in Serie C this season.
