Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has successfully passed his medical examination, paving the way for his big-money transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

With all formalities now in place, the forward is set to finalise his move immediately. Bayer Leverkusen and Al-Nassr have reached a total agreement on a transfer fee exceeding €60 million, with Boniface expected to earn €15 million net per season.

This highly anticipated transfer, which had been in the works since last week, is now on the verge of official confirmation.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has confirmed that Boniface will not feature in the club’s UEFA Champions League clash against Sparta Prague on Wednesday, January 28

The match, scheduled for an 8 PM kickoff at the BayArena, will see the German champions aiming for victory even in the absence of their prolific forward.
