Brazil international of Cameroonian descent Vinicius Jnr has set sights on clinching the FIFA Club World Cup title with Real Madrid.
The expanded Club World Cup tournament commenced at the weekend, with Real Madrid expected to take on Al Hilal in their opening game on June 18.
The Spanish giants are paired in Group H against Al Hilal, CF Pachuca and Red Bull Salzburg.
Prior to Real Madrid’s opening match, Vinicius Jnr has reinterested his desire to annex the Club World Cup with his outfit.
“We want to win this first Club World Cup because people never forget the first one, and it’s the only title Real Madrid doesn’t have.” He said.
Real Madrid struggled in the just ended football campaign, missing out on domestic and continental trophies at large.
However, the Spanish powerhouse will be hoping to annex the Club World Cup to compensate their fans following a trophyless run in the just ended season.
