While Brahimi, who was born in Paris, has represented France at the youth level, he appears to be leaning towards joining the Algerian national team. El Arabi urged patience, stating that Brahimi is convinced of playing for Algeria but wants to focus on establishing himself more at his club, Grenada CF, before making a formal commitment.
