Real Madrid are reassessing their attacking plans ahead of next season, as Brahim Díaz continues to rise in prominence within the squad.

Amid intense competition in the forward line, with Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior maintaining their places as key starters, Diaz has emerged as one of the biggest beneficiaries in recent weeks. His impressive run of form has elevated him into the coaching staff’s core plans.

The Moroccan international’s recent performances have made a strong impression within the club. His sharp movement, technical quality and eye for goal have set him apart, particularly in wide attacking roles.

This surge has seen him move ahead of Franco Mastantuono, who initially enjoyed the trust of former manager Xabi Alonso earlier in the campaign.

Mastantuono’s situation has taken a sudden turn. After arriving in Madrid last summer with significant expectations, the Argentine youngster now finds himself on the fringes of the starting lineup. The return of Federico Valverde to a more advanced role, combined with Diaz’s consistent displays, has further limited his opportunities.

Sources close to the club suggest that Madrid are considering sending Mastantuono out on loan next summer to aid his development. A similar pathway previously benefited Indrek, who impressed during his spell in France with Olympique Lyonnais.

The anticipated return of Indrek is expected to further intensify competition in the attacking department, leaving even fewer chances for Mastantuono to break through.

Meanwhile, another young talent, Gonzalo, could also face an uncertain future, with the possibility of a loan move or a permanent transfer that includes a buy-back clause.

Diaz’s resurgence has not only secured his place in the squad but has also reshaped the club’s internal dynamics. His influence is increasingly being seen as a key factor behind potential decisions to offload or temporarily move on emerging prospects.

As Diaz continues to deliver, Real Madrid appear set to reshuffle their attacking options, with some of their promising young players likely to seek regular playing time away from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
