Braga’s Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch linked with FC Dinamo switch

Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch of Braga is being linked with a move to Romanian side FC Dinamo, with the 24-year-old’s future in Portugal increasingly uncertain.

Bellaarouch, born in Casablanca on 1 February 2002 and valued at €400k, is the subject of fresh speculation after reports in Portugal and Romania connected him with a potential transfer to the SuperLiga club. The reported probability of the move remains unclear, listed as “?”, and there is no confirmation yet of an agreement between Braga and Dinamo.

The 1.89m stopper, who plays as a right‑footed goalkeeper and wears the number 36 shirt for Braga, currently has no publicly listed contract expiry date, raising the prospect that he could move on as his deal runs down or even depart as a free agent if it is allowed to lapse. That uncertainty has fuelled suggestions Dinamo could try to secure a low-cost deal in line with his €400k market valuation.

Bellaarouch, who is registered with Braga in Liga Portugal, has been building his reputation as a developing option between the posts, with his recent outings in Portugal closely watched by scouts. In his latest appearance for Braga, he featured in a Liga Portugal match in 2026, turning out against top‑flight opposition and contributing to the side’s defensive display, although the game ended without major incident for the young keeper.

Primarily considered a prospect rather than a long‑established first choice, Bellaarouch’s career path has so far been anchored at Braga, where he is also listed with the club’s set‑up at national-team level. His Instagram presence underlines a growing profile off the pitch as well.

A move to Dinamo, if it materialises, would offer Bellaarouch a fresh platform in Romania’s SuperLiga and could prove a pivotal step in shaping his reputation and long‑term potential in European football.
