English Premier League club, AFC Bournemouth, have commenced talks with French Ligue 1 outfit FC Nantes for the signing of France-born defender of Ivorian descent, Nathan Zézé.
According to sources, Bournemouth have submitted a verbal bid worth €20 million to the French club.
The club is determined to secure the services of Nathan Zézé after his impressive performances in the 2024/25 football season.
Zézé, 19, is considered one of the fastest-rising defenders in the world and has been tipped for a big summer move.
It is believed that Italian Serie A club AC Milan has been monitoring the teenager and plans to approach FC Nantes over a possible transfer.
For Bournemouth, the move for Nathan Zézé is calculated. The club expects to lose top defender Dean Huijsen and wants to sign his replacement as soon as possible.
Despite an initial 20 million euros offer, the English club will be ready to increase the bid to make the deal happen in the summer transfer window.
Zeze is currently under contract with FC Nantes until 2028.
