Bournemouth considering move for Franco-Ivorian defender Loïc Badé
Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth have set sights on securing the services of France international of Ivory Coast descent Loïc Badé.
Bade, who plies his trade Spanish outfit FC Sevilla has become a transfer target for the Cherries as they seeks to bolster their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign.
The Premier League side is looking at alternative targets to bolster Andoni Iraola’s defensive options in the wake of Dean Huijsen’s move to Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Illia Zabarnyi could also be on his way out of the Vitality Stadium amid interest from PSG.
Bournemouth previously prioritized making a move for Lille centre-back Bafodé Diakité, who also reached an agreement on personal terms with the Cherries. However, Lille are holding out for a €40m transfer fee to part ways with their French centre-back, who excelled in stepping in following Leny Yoro’s departure to Manchester United last year.
With Lille turning down a €30m bid from Bournemouth for Bafodé Diakité, the Franco-Ivorian centre-back would be a cheaper alternative.
Sevilla would request a €30m transfer fee for the centre-back who impressed for his Les Bleus debut against Germany in the Nations League 3rd place game.
