Boucetta linked with move to Libya after AS Soliman spell

Tunisia defender Mohamed Aziz Boucetta, currently with AS Soliman, has been linked with a move to Libyan club Libyan in the Libyan Premier League.

The 28-year-old centre-back joined AS Soliman from US Ben Guerdane on 1 August 2024 in a free transfer. He has a market value of €150,000, according to the latest assessment on 2 June 2026.

Boucetta has made 70 Ligue 1 appearances during his career, scoring twice, and has also played eight times in the Tunisian Cup. His record in Tunisia’s top flight includes more than 5,600 minutes of action, while he has made a further six appearances in the Ligue I Pro Playout competition.

The defender began his senior career with AS Soliman after coming through the Esperance Tunis youth system. He later returned to AS Soliman in 2022 from CS Chebba before moving to US Ben Guerdane and then rejoining his current club.

Boucetta was part of the Esperance Tunis squad that won the Tunisian championship in the 2017-18 season. He has spent the majority of his career in Tunisian football and is understood to remain an AS Soliman player while the reported Libyan interest develops.
