After a break that lasted several weeks due to Morocco’s hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations finals, action is set to resume in the national professional football championship, with top-flight football returning at a stage keenly anticipated by Moroccan fans.
The restart of the competition comes at a crucial point in the season, as a number of clubs are under pressure to respond after difficult results in previous rounds, while others aim to build on promising starts and strengthen their push toward the top of the table as the campaign enters a sensitive phase.
In this context, the Programming Committee of the National Professional Football League has announced the official schedule for the ninth and tenth rounds of the 2025/2026 Professional Championship season. The matches will be played over two weeks, although several fixtures have been postponed to a later date.
The ninth round will see Olympique Dcheira face Difaa El Jadida on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 4:00 pm, with the venue yet to be confirmed. On the same day, Maghreb Fez host Fath Rabat at the Fez Sports Complex at 6:00 pm, while Union Yaacoub El Mansour welcome Union of Tangier at the City Stadium in Rabat at 8:00 pm.
Action continues on Sunday, January 25, with Renaissance Zemamra taking on Meknes Club at Ahmed Choukri Stadium in Zemamra at 4:00 pm, before Union Touarga clash with Raja Casablanca at the City Stadium in Rabat at 6:00 pm. The fixtures between Renaissance Berkane and Hassania Agadir, Kawkab Marrakech and Olympique Safi, as well as Wydad Athletic Club against the Royal Army, have been postponed.
The tenth round begins on Saturday, January 31, when Hassania Agadir play Union Yaacoub El Mansour at 4:00 pm, with the stadium to be confirmed. Later that day, Meknes Club host Union Touarga at the Honorary Stadium in Meknes at 6:00 pm, while Hassania Agadir face Maghreb Fez at Al-Abdi Stadium in El Jadida at 8:00 pm. On Sunday, February 1, Raja Casablanca meet Renaissance Zemamra at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca at 6:00 pm, before Ittihad Tanger host Kawkab Marrakech at the Sports Village Stadium in Tangier at 8:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the matches between Olympique Safi and Renaissance Berkane, the Royal Army and Olympique Dcheira, and Fath Rabat versus Wydad Athletic Club have also been deferred to a later date.
