Botola Pro 1: RS Berkane without six key players ahead of Raja Casablanca showdown

RS Berkane will enter their postponed seventh round Botola Pro 1 fixture against Raja Club Athletic with a significantly weakened squad, as six players are set to miss the highly anticipated encounter.

Head coach Mouine Chaabani faces a selection headache, particularly in goal, with both Munir Mohamedi and Mehdi Miftah ruled out through injury after failing to recover in time for the showdown.

The defensive line will also be reshuffled following the departure of Lamine Camara, who recently completed a move to Al-Ahly Tripoli. In addition, Malian midfielder Soumaila Sidibe will serve a suspension after being sent off in the previous match, automatically sidelining him for this fixture.

RS Berkane’s concerns extend further, as Yassine El Bahiri remains unavailable due to incomplete recovery from injury. Meanwhile, Mohamed Mourabit will also sit out the match after a disciplinary ruling handed down by the league authorities.

With key figures missing across multiple positions, Berkane will need to rely on squad depth as they prepare to host Raja in what promises to be a decisive contest in the domestic championship race.
