Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy received a rapturous welcome upon his arrival in Conakry, Guinea.
Arriving on December 23, Guirassy was greeted at the airport by an enthusiastic crowd of fans, alongside Guinean Football Federation president Aboubacar Sampil and Sports Minister Kéamou Bogola Haba.

After the lively reception, the 27-year-old was escorted to his hotel, where he joined fellow Guinean international Mouctar Diakhaby.
Guirassy’s visit to Guinea is more than just a homecoming. He is scheduled to tour the Stade du 28 Septembre, currently undergoing renovations, and meet with the country’s transitional authorities.
The trip also holds personal significance, as he plans to travel to Touba in Boké to spend time with his family before returning to Germany to resume his Bundesliga commitments.
