South Africa outfit Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the return of head coach Nasreddine Nabi after few weeks’ absence.
The Soweto giants missed the services of the Tunisian tactician in their opening three games due to family issues.
In his absence, Kaizer Chiefs managed to secure three consecutive victories in the South African top-flight. The Soweto giants defeated Stellenbosch, Richards Bay and Polokwane City to ensure a perfect start to the season.
Nabi was excused from the team few days to the commencement of the league season as his wife was involved in a car accident in Tunisia.
Having overcome the situation at hand, Nabi has rejoined the team at training as they gear up for their next game against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The much-anticipated clash against Sundowns has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
With nine points, Kaizer Chiefs found themselves in a respectable position in the current campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs struggled last season despite ending their 10-year trophy drought in South Africa by clinching the FA Cup.
Having missed out on the top eight at the end of last season, Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to make a meaningful impact this time.
