Thiago Motta, the Italian coach of the Bologna team, considers Moroccan international Osama El Azzouzi as one of the key players in the squad, expecting him to deliver strong performances in the future.
In statements to Italian media, Motta described El Azzouzi as a valuable player for the team, capable of evolving due to his young age and tactical and technical maturity.
He highlighted El Azzouzi’s potential to develop as a defensive midfielder.
The former Italian international added that El Azzouzi is a hardworking player, enthusiastic in training, and gives his all without fatigue or boredom, which positively impacts the team.
He also mentioned that El Azzouzi motivates other players to compete for a spot in Bologna’s upcoming matches.
El Azzouzi participated with the Moroccan national team in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where the “Atlas Lions” were eliminated in the round of 16 by South Africa.
It is worth noting that the Italian club Bologna signed Moroccan international midfielder Osama El Azzouzi last summer from Belgian club Saint-Gilloise on a four-year contract with an optional fifth year.
