The Ghanaian women’s football team, the Black Queens, has commenced its preparatory camp in Accra ahead of a pivotal match against Zambia on Friday, marking the third round of qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
With nearly all 23 summoned players already present, the squad eagerly anticipates the arrival of midfielder Freda Ayisi, slated to join the camp on Monday.
The team, led by coach Nora Hauptle, wasted no time, initiating training exercises on February 19, 2024, laying the groundwork for an intensive four-day preparation leading up to the crucial encounter on Friday.
During this preparatory period, the Black Queens are scheduled to engage in several training sessions at their base in Accra.
These sessions serve as a strategic platform for fine-tuning their game plan before facing the Cooper Queens on February 23 at Accra Sports Stadium.
