Moroccan international Bilal Nadir has renewed his contract with French football club Olympique de Marseille, extending it until 2026.
The announcement came through an official statement posted on the club’s website, confirming that Nadir signed the renewal documents on Wednesday, in the presence of club president Pablo Longoria.
In a brief interview, Nadir expressed his happiness at the renewal and the trust placed in him by Marseille’s officials.
He stated, “I am very comfortable and happy to continue the adventure with Olympique de Marseille.
My contract was about to expire, and I found myself in a delicate situation.
It is a significant sign of the club’s trust in me by extending my contract. I would like to thank the directors.”
Addressing his recent surgery five weeks ago, Nadir explained, “The news of my injury was complex.
I had to absorb it. Soon, I isolated myself and I am fortunate to be well surrounded by the team.
I knew it would be a long-term injury.
I underwent surgery a few weeks ago, and the recovery process is progressing slowly.”
The Moroccan player emphasized his pride in continuing the adventure with Marseille, praising the confidence shown in him by the French team.
He affirmed his eagerness to return strongly to assist the club in achieving positive results.
