Wydad Casablanca midfielder Mehdi Mubarak suffered a serious injury during Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Fath Rabat in the Moroccan Football League.
Mubarak was unable to walk after the match and had to rely on crutches. He is set to undergo medical tests to determine the severity of the injury, but early reports suggest he could be sidelined for several months.
His absence adds to Wydad’s growing injury concerns, with Ismail El Moutaraji and full-back Bouchta already on the sidelines.
Mubarak, who is on loan from UAE’s Al Ain, has been a crucial part of Wydad’s midfield. His injury further complicates the club’s struggles, as they remain winless in their last three league matches.
