Bidemi Amole: Real Sapphire left winger linked with Atalanta move in Italy transfer rumours

Atalanta are being linked with a move for teenage Nigerian winger Bidemi Amole from Real Sapphire.

The Serie A club have been named as admirers of the 18-year-old left-sided attacker, who is currently on the books of Real Sapphire in Nigeria. The speculation, logged on 6 March 2026, lists the probability of a deal as “?” and does not yet indicate whether concrete talks have taken place.

Amole, born on 10 November 2007 in Ibadan, is described as an attack-minded left winger and is regarded as one of the latest prospects to emerge from Real Sapphire’s production line. He is registered as playing for Real Sapphire FC and there is no contract start or expiry date recorded, raising the prospect that he could be available as a free agent or on a low-cost deal if any move progresses.

No official market valuation has been published, with his market value listed as “None” on Transfermarkt, a detail that is likely to fuel further speculation over what fee, if any, Atalanta might be required to pay. The absence of a defined value could also attract other European clubs monitoring emerging talent from West Africa.

Recent domestic fixtures have continued to showcase his development, with Real Sapphire using him predominantly on the left flank, where his pace and direct running have been a feature of their attacking play, although detailed statistics and match-by-match breakdowns – including specific opponents, scorelines and individual contributions – are not publicly available in major databases at this stage.

Amole has only represented Nigerian club Real Sapphire so far and has not yet appeared for the senior national team, though he is eligible for Nigeria at international level. Any transfer to Atalanta would represent his first move to Europe and into a top-five league.

If the interest from Bergamo eventually turns into a formal offer, the switch could mark a significant step in Amole’s career, giving him a platform to test his potential in Serie A and shape his long-term reputation on the European stage.
