Beşiktaş have intensified their efforts to sign Cameroonian midfielder Frank Anguissa, despite Napoli rejecting two transfer offers from the Turkish giants.
The 28-year-old’s future in Naples appears increasingly uncertain.
Although his contract with the Italian side was automatically extended, the player is reportedly open to a new challenge outside Serie A, sparking interest from several clubs across Europe and beyond.
English, French, Turkish, and Saudi Arabian teams have all expressed interest, with some reportedly submitting formal proposals for Anguissa’s services during the ongoing transfer window.
Beşiktaş, in particular, have emerged as one of the most determined contenders.
According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, the Istanbul-based club submitted a €12 million bid for the former Olympique de Marseille man—an offer that was promptly turned down by Napoli.
Reports from Turkish outlet Fanatik suggest this was Beşiktaş’s second attempt to lure the midfielder, following an earlier bid that also failed to meet the Italian club’s valuation.
Undeterred by the rejections, Beşiktaş are reportedly preparing a third bid, underlining their sustained commitment to landing the Cameroon international.
“Frank Anguissa remains a top priority,” an unnamed club source was quoted as saying. “There is strong belief that a deal can be reached.”
Napoli, however, are said to be holding firm on a €20 million asking price.
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are reportedly considering a more lucrative €25 million offer, which could potentially outmuscle European interest.
Premier League outfit Chelsea are also rumoured to be closely monitoring the situation and may already be ahead of other suitors in negotiations.

Anguissa, whose contract runs until June 2027, earns an annual salary of €3.46 million (approximately 2.25 billion FCFA), equating to €66,538 (43.2 million FCFA) per week.
His market value is currently listed at €27 million, according to Transfermarkt.
With transfer talks ongoing and multiple clubs vying for his signature, Anguissa’s next move remains a topic of significant speculation.
For now, Napoli are standing firm—but as interest continues to mount, the coming weeks could prove decisive in shaping the next chapter of his career.
