Besiktas linked with Alverca midfielder Davy Gui

Davy Gui, the Ivorian-French midfielder at Alverca, is the subject of a rumoured move to Besiktas in Turkey’s Super Lig.

The 20-year-old central midfielder has been linked with a switch from the Portuguese club, although no transfer has been confirmed. The rumour is currently rated at 49%.

Gui has made three appearances in Liga Portugal this season, starting 75% of Alverca’s possible matches and completing 62% of the available minutes. He has not scored or provided an assist and has been booked twice.

He joined Alverca from Dijon on 8 July 2025 in a free transfer and has since established himself in the club’s first-team squad. His current market value is listed at €600,000.

The proposed move would come with Gui still under contract at Alverca until 30 June 2028. The midfielder previously played for Dijon after joining the French club’s reserve side from ASI Abengourou in September 2024, before progressing to the senior team during the 2024-25 season.

Alverca currently compete in Liga Portugal, while Besiktas are among the established clubs in Turkey’s top flight. The available details do not indicate that negotiations have reached an advanced stage, leaving Gui’s position at Alverca unchanged for now.
