Algerian international Rachid Ghazal has received troubling news regarding his future with his current club, Besiktas, in Turkey.
Turkish media reports released today, Wednesday, reveal that Besiktas is preparing to offload nine players, including the Algerian midfielder Rachid Ghazal.
Ghazal’s contract with the Turkish club expires next June, with a clause allowing automatic renewal if he plays at least 45 minutes in 20 official matches this season.
However, the Turkish website “sporx” confirmed today, Wednesday, that Ghazal, along with eight other players, will not be part of Besiktas’s plans for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
