The 2012-2013 season of the Beninese national football championship is set to begin on November 18, featuring 13 teams competing for the title. The reigning champion, ASPAC (Sports Association of the Autonomous Port of Cotonou), will open the season with a match against Mogas 90, the winner of the Independence Cup. The championship will consist of 26 matchdays, and the team with the best performance throughout the season will be crowned the champion.
