Belgium international of DR Congo descent Christian Benteke has completed a move to UAE football heavyweights Al Wahda in the current transfer window.
The former Premier League cult hero joins AL Wahda as a free agent following his departure from American side D.C. United at the expiration of his contract.
Benteke penned a deal that will keep him at Al Wahda until 2027 and is expected to play a huge role for the club.

Throughout his career, Benteke has played for several clubs, including Kortrijk, Standard Liège, Genk, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and the aforementioned D.C. United.
In his last season with D.C. United, Benteke featured in 26 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists.
