Nasser Al-Khelaïfi steps down as chairman of beIN Sports France
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has resigned from his role as chairman of beIN Sports France, the sports broadcaster confirmed in a recent press release.
However, Al-Khelaïfi will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of beIN Media Group, the parent company overseeing the global operations of the network.
The move sees Yousef Al Obaidly, currently deputy CEO of beIN Sports France, step up as the new chairman while maintaining his deputy CEO role at beIN Media Group.
This reshuffle highlights that changes and transfers are not only confined to the football pitch but also taking place behind the scenes in sports media.
