Bayern Munich will decide on the future of French defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey, at the end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
This is according to Max Eberly, who is the club’s Sporting Director.
According to him, Sacha Boey will have the chance to play for the club at the tournament as one of three right-backs.
However, the Bayern Munich Sporting Director is not ruling out the departure of Sacha Boey or any of the other right-backs this summer.
He insists that the club will decide on the future of the three full-backs at the end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
“Every player has a chance in every game. We have Konni (Laimer) at right back, of course, as well as Stani (Stanisic) and Sacha. That’s actually a lot for one position. Now Sacha is here, and now he’ll play for us,” Max Eberl said.
He added, “After that, we’ll see what the future holds, because that’s when we’ll be able to properly finalize our squad planning. But three right-backs is a luxury.”
It is understood that Galatasaray are interested in re-signing Sacha Boey and are already negotiating a deal for the defender with Bayern Munich.
