German giants Bayern Munich are considering a move to sign Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare.
The club wants to secure the services of the 24-year-old forward to serve as backup for lethal striker Harry Kane.
According to information gathered from sources, the German Bundesliga club has made initial inquiries into the availability of the KRC Genk striker.
While no formal negotiations have commenced, Bayern Munich have sought information regarding the potential terms of a transfer.
Tolu Arokodare has been in sensational form for the Belgian club this season. He has scored 19 goals and provided five assists after making 34 appearances in the Pro League.
His performances have made him a transfer target of a lot of clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Vfb Stuttgart. More clubs are likely to join the race for the signature of the Nigerian forward when the summer transfer window opens.
As a result, Bayern Munich will need to step up their pursuit of the forward if they want to beat the competition from the other teams.
A move to Bayern Munich will be a major step for Tolu, giving him a bigger platform to showcase his talent.
