Bayern Munich have officially contacted Egyptian giants Al Ahly to express interest in signing talented youth team striker Hamza Mohamed Abdel Karim.
The German Bundesliga giants want the prodigy to spend a trial period with the team following his brilliant performance with the Egyptian national team during the 2025 U17 AFCON.
Sources have revealed that Bayern Munich will not oppose a move for the promising striker to spend some time in Germany for his trials with the Bundesliga Champions.
While interest has also come verbally from Manchester United and Marseille, only Bayern have made contact through official channels.
Abdelkarim has already joined Al Ahly’s first team and is on their preliminary squad list for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S.
At the tournament, Al Ahly will kick off their Club World Cup campaign against Inter Miami. The team will later face Brazilian side Palmeiras on June 19, before concluding their group stage campaign against Portuguese side Porto on June 23.
