German giants Bayern Munich want to convince Leroy Sane to accept the club’s contract extension offer.
Nonetheless, the club does not want to change anything in their contract extension offer for German-Senegalese attacker Leroy Sane.
This is according to club President Herbert Hainer.
“We didn’t put up with anything. We negotiated an offer with him, and we stand by it. But we won’t budge an inch from it. We’ve made that clear. A decision will certainly be made in the next few days,” the Bayern Munich President told the media over the weekend.
Despite the contract extension impasse between Bayern Munich and Leroy Sane’s representatives, the forward was in action for the club on Saturday in their heavy 4-0 win against TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga.
After the game, Sporting Director Max Eberl confirmed that Leroy Sane has rejected the club’s contract extension offer.
“Leroy told us he did not want to accept our offer in this form,” Eberl said.
Checks have revealed that Bayern Munich are willing to wait for a while to see if Leroy Sane will change his mind to accept the offer on the table.
The club will reportedly wait until August 1 before moving on. Before the deadline, Bayern Munich want to do everything to convince Sane to accept the proposed deal.
