BAYERN MUNICH: HOENESS ATTENDED A CLUB MATCH

Uli Hoeness, the former president of Bayern Munich, made his first appearance at the Allianz Arena since his conviction for tax fraud on March 13. He was present in the VIP stand during Bayern Munich’s match against Hoffenheim.

Bayern’s current boss, Karl Heinz Rummenige, expressed that Hoeness is always welcome among them, indicating the club’s support for him during this challenging time.

Hoeness had been absent from the public eye since March 11, when he last attended the Champions League second-leg match against Arsenal. His absence extended through significant events, including Bayern Munich’s securing of their 24th national title by defeating Hertha Berlin (3-1) in a Bundesliga match.

Despite his legal troubles, Hoeness remains a prominent figure in Bayern Munich’s history, and his presence at the Allianz Arena was noted by fans and officials alike.
