Bayern Munich director Max Eberl refutes reports about interest to sign Nicolas Jackson
The director of sport at Bayern Munich, Max Eberl, has stressed that the club has no interest in signing Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson this summer.
During Bayern’s 4-0 win over Tottenham earlier today, journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed the Bundesliga champions were considering the Chelsea striker as a summer transfer target.
However, speaking after the match, Eberl was quick to shut down the speculation.
“Definitely not. I have never spoken to him,” he told Maximilian Koch when asked if Jackson was an option for Bayern.
Meanwhile, several outlets in England have reported that Chelsea want to offload Nicolas Jackson this summer.
Reports suggest that Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have already expressed interest in signing the forward.
In the past, Jackson was linked with a possible move to Manchester United. However, that deal is off following the imminent signing of Benjamin Sesko.
