Bayer Leverkusen has set its sights on Senegalese striker Habib Diallo as a potential addition during the ongoing transfer window.

Habib Diallo, who recently made the move to Saudi Arabia, finds himself under consideration by Bayer Leverkusen as they seek a reliable center forward to fill the void left by Victor Boniface, who underwent surgery on the muscular tendons of his right adductor.

The Senegalese striker, currently showcasing his talents at the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast with the Senegal Lions, is a notable prospect for Bayer Leverkusen.

Diallo made headlines with his transfer to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia earlier this summer, securing a move from Racing Strasbourg for a transfer fee amounting to 18 million euros.

Despite his recent transition to Al-Shabab, Diallo’s goal-scoring prowess has yet to flourish in the colors of his new club.

With just 2 goals in 19 matches, the 28-year-old striker has faced challenges in making a significant impact.

Bayer Leverkusen, aiming to strengthen their forward line, has identified Diallo as their third choice for the role.

Alongside the Senegalese striker, other names on the German team’s shortlist include Moïse Kean from Juventus and Borja Iglesias from Betis Sevilla.

As the transfer window unfolds, Bayer Leverkusen’s interest in Habib Diallo adds an intriguing dimension to the ongoing negotiations, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on the potential recruitment of the Senegalese striker to address the striking challenges faced by the team.
